In 2009 we received our first grant from the San Antonio Area Foundation for $25,000 - Aid To Helpless Animal Trust. This allowed us to expand our program to all qualified residents in Medina County.

2011 Castrovill Nip & Tuck received a $5000 grant from the San Antonio Area Foundation - Aid to Helpless Animal Trust. The grant money was used entirely for the Spay and Neutering of over 160 dogs and cats in Medina County. The SNAP's Mobile Clinic ( Spay & Neuter Assistance Program ) of San Antonio went to Hondo (1) and Devine (2) times. Clients were charged $35 to have their dog or cat - spayed or neutered including their Rabies vaccination. Castroville also used local Veterinarians - Dr. Mary Baker of Alamo Area Vet. Clinic and Dr. David Carter of Castroville Vet.to work with their program.

We were able to offer more Snap's Mobile Clinics as well as utilizing the participating Veterinarians : Dr. Mary Baker - Alamo Area Vet. Clinic, Dr. David Carter - Castroville Vet. Clinic, and Dr. Steven Yarbrough - Devine Vet. Clinic.
