In 2018, Castroville Nip & Tuck received a grant from the San Antonio Area Foundation Animal Services Fund in the amount of $20,000 dollars: six grants have been received to date from the Area Foundation.

For more than 50 years, the San Antonio Area Foundation has served as the foundation for the San Antonio area by helping donors achieve their charitable goals. As a collaborative leader, they bring people together to address relevant key issues; considered an investment in the future of this community. The Area Foundation manages more than 500 charitable funds and $905 million dollars in assets. Since 1964, $358 million dollars have been awarded, in scholarships and grants, to nonprofit organizations that specifically deal with youth education, preservation of the environment, protection of animals and research. Castroville Nip & Tuck was one of 20 recipients (from 200+ applicants) of the Animal Service funds. Our organization has received over $221,000 dollars in grants from the Area Foundation, the Summerlee Foundation and others. Grant funds are exclusively used for Veterinarian fees.

* The $50 voucher includes the spay or neutering of either a cat or dog and their Rabies vacination. One voucher per household can be purchased every month until the end of the grant cycle. Due to the cost of the Snap's Mobile Clinic increase - Castroville Nip & Tuck's voucher has increased from $35 to $50 per voucher. We're sorry for the increase, but to continue to provide as many clinics as we do the price had to increase.
